“Albanian Smart Distribution sh.p.k” (ASD), has been operating in the market since 2016 with main activity in wholesale and distribution of semi-finished goods for pastry, bakery, HORECA and semi food industries.
The company has been founded by two partners as follows:
Mr. Andi Kume – General Manager (13 years previous experience in the Corporate banking sector)
Mr. Armir Meca – Director of Sales (13 years experience in the same industry as ASD).

Founded in 2016, Albanian Smart Distribution (ASD) specializes in the wholesale and distribution of ingredients and semi-finished products for the pastry, bakery, gelato, HORECA, and food industries.
What began as a vision shared by two experienced professionals has evolved into a growing distribution business with operations in Albania and Kosovo.
Today, ASD connects leading international manufacturers with thousands of businesses, combining a comprehensive product portfolio, modern logistics infrastructure, and specialized technical expertise.

Our Infrastructure & Distribution Network
Our main logistics and distribution center, located approximately 10 km from Tirana, offers 6,000 m² of warehousing space with a total storage capacity of 7,500 pallet spaces, including 2,500 temperature-controlled pallet spaces.
The facility also features administrative offices, a showroom, and a modern pastry and bakery laboratory dedicated to professional training, product demonstrations, and technical support.
Our nationwide distribution network is supported by a team of 90 employees and a fleet of 50 delivery vans and 3 trucks, ensuring efficient deliveries and reliable service throughout Albania.
With a comprehensive portfolio of more than 2,500 products (SKUs), ASD serves approximately 3,000 customers, providing solutions tailored to the needs of professional bakeries, pastry shops, gelato producers, hotels, restaurants, and food manufacturers.
Our integrated logistics, commercial, and technical capabilities enable us to support our customers with consistent product availability, professional expertise, and dependable service.
Expanding Our Regional Presence
Kosovo
In 2022, ASD expanded its operations into Kosovo, marking an important milestone in the company’s regional development.
Our Kosovo operation is supported by a 2,000 m² warehouse, a dedicated team of 15 employees, and a fleet of 5 delivery vehicles.
This expansion strengthens our presence in the region and allows us to bring our product portfolio, logistics expertise, and customer-focused approach to businesses across Kosovo.
Through our operations in both countries, we continue to develop a distribution network built on reliability, efficiency, and long-term customer relationships.
Company Overview
The main warehouse and distribution center, located about 10 km from Tirana, covers 5,300 sqm and includes 550 sqm of office space with administration offices, a showroom, and a modern pastry and bakery lab with 65 seats used for professional training and demonstrations. The 3,200 sqm warehouse offers 1,300 pallet spaces under ambient conditions and 130 pallet spaces in refrigerated storage.
ASD’s distribution network extends through three sub-warehouses in Shkodra, Fier, and Vlora, supported by a fleet of 15 vans. The company serves over 800 clients nationwide and distributes more than 1,200 products (SKUs). With 48 employees, including a 20-person sales team, ASD works exclusively with over 20 prestigious international suppliers such as IREKS GmbH, Frischli (Germany), UNIGRA (Martini Gelato and GLF), Prodotti di Stella, Cesarin Spa (Italy), Scandic Food (Denmark), Olympia BV (Belgium), Cacao Barry (France), and Katsan Ovalette (Turkey).
