“Albanian Smart Distribution sh.p.k” (ASD), has been operating in the market since 2016 with main activity in wholesale and distribution of semi-finished goods for pastry, bakery, HORECA and semi food industries.
The company has been founded by two partners as follows:
Mr. Andi Kume – General Manager (13 years previous experience in the Corporate banking sector)
Mr. Armir Meca – Director of Sales (13 years experience in the same industry as ASD)
Through experience, vision and through selecting an appropriate business model, within a relatively short period, the company has managed to rise among top 4 distributors on this market.The Main warehouse/distribution center is located in the industrial area, approximately 10 Km from Tirana – the capital city. The premises, are situated on a land surface of 5300 sqm and are composed of two sections as follows:
Office premises with a surface of 550 sqm on which are situated the administration offices, showroom and a modern pastry and bakery lab with a capacity of 65 seats on which the company organizes seminars with its clients. Seminars are held by several internationally well known chefs for pastry and bakery, provided by our partners.
Products warehouse/storage is 3200 sqm with a total storage capacity of 1300 pallets spaces under ambient conditions and a refrigerator of 130 pallets spaces.
Apart from the main warehouse, the distribution network is composed of other 3 sub-warehouses in 3 other cities namely Shkodra, Fier and Vlora. Through this network and a fleet of 15 vans, ASD distributes more than 1200 products (SKU-s) to approximately 800 clients all over Albania.The company employs 48 people, out of which 20 are part of the sales team and the others work on supporting functions.
A key to success of “ASD” are the partners/suppliers. The company works exclusively with more than 20 suppliers such as IREKS Gmbh, Frischli (Germany) ; UNIGRA (Martini Gelato and GLF), Prodotti di Stella, Cesarin spa (Italy), Scandic Food (Denmark), Olympia BV (Belgium), Cacao Barry (France), Katsan Ovalette (Turkey) etc.
